Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the NERV mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

NERV is a social skills training application that provides personalized assessments, daily challenges, voice practice with AI feedback, and progress tracking. The App is designed for users aged 13 and older.

3. Account Registration

You may use the App with anonymous authentication or by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• NERV offers free and premium (NERV Pro) tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store on a recurring basis (monthly or annual).
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to harass, bully, or harm other individuals

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including challenges, scoring algorithms, AI feedback, and design elements, is owned by NERV and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any photos or voice recordings you submit through the App.

7. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to provide feedback on voice practice sessions and to generate personalized challenges. AI-generated feedback is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be achieved from using the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NERV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
