1. Introduction

NERV ("we", "our", "us") operates the NERV mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Data: We use anonymous authentication by default. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from those providers.
  • Profile Data: Information you provide during onboarding such as your name, age range, goals, and preferences.
  • Voice Recordings: Audio recorded during voice practice sessions is sent to our servers for AI-powered feedback and is not stored after processing.
  • Photos: Images captured for daily challenge submissions are stored securely and associated with your account.
  • Usage Data: Quiz responses, scores, streak data, and mission completions to provide your personalized experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the NERV app experience
  • To generate your social score and personalized challenges
  • To process voice recordings for AI feedback (not stored after processing)
  • To manage your subscription and account
  • To send push notifications about missions and streaks (with your permission)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (data stored in the US)
  • OpenAI: Voice recording analysis and AI-powered feedback
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
  • Apple / Google: OAuth sign-in and in-app purchase processing
  • Vercel: Website hosting and analytics

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Voice recordings are processed in real-time and are not stored after feedback is generated. All other data is retained until you delete your account.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, all your profile data, scores, onboarding responses, and any other stored information is permanently and immediately removed from our servers.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), row-level security policies on our database, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

NERV is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
